Here's looking at you, kid.

I've been cleaning all day today. Mostly organizational cleaning, making sure my files are in order, everything in my room is in its place, that kind of cleaning. I actually enjoy this type of organization, except I find myself stopping the middle of something to do something else, or look at something, then get distracted to the point where I have to stop myself and start over again. Never an easy thing, but it is what it is.
This post is one of those things that is currently distracting me from putting away my laundry. :)

Day 14: Post your favorite movies that you never get tired of watching,

Ok if I were to post all of my favorite movies, I'd be here all day. And also that is going to be the premise of my future blog projects, so I don't want to jump the gun just yet. Gotta get more knowledge in this little head before I can attempt this.

But I can give you guys a top 5 for now (in no particular order)

#1- The Mummy (1999)- It's a fun adventure movie, and its a period piece, two of my favorite things. And I can watch it over and over and over, and not get sick of it.
#2- Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)- In the same vein, this movie is a fun adventure movie, and a period piece, again, two of my favorite things. (Plus its freakin' Harrison Ford!)
#3- For Lovers Only (2011)- This movie isn't anything really special other than the fact it was all shot on DSLR cameras. But Stana Katic is really beautiful in this movie, the camera just loves her and she looks amazing in black and white, and sometimes you just watch movies to see pretty things, even if the story isn't that pretty (adulterous affairs anyone?).
#4- There Will Be Blood (2007)- A serious movie for a serious person. I love the performances in this movie more than anything.
#5- Casablanca (1942)- I'm a sucker for a good romance, and I've seen this one so many times that I just really enjoy it. It's a little overdone, but that's what happens to classics, they get watched to the point where its cliche to love this movie.


Man, now I want to sit down and watch one of these, BUT I HAVE TO CLEAN!!

Be a Super.

I'm gonna be honest. I really don't feel like doing this today. I physically do not feel good, and there's a bunch of stuff currently going on behind the scenes that I just don't want to discuss in a public space. It might be like this for a while, so these posts are probably going to be short for a bit. Sorry. Day 2: A person you admire. I think I covered something similar last month, and I think I said something along the lines that people can always let you down so try not to put much hope in other people. And considering how the mighty have fallen all over, its hard to have heroes. So I'm going to go with the fictional kind. Which definition?

Day 27: Conversely, write about something that's kicking ass right now.  This feels like an AP English assignment, that is if I'm understanding the use of the word "Conversely". Most white allies would rather not use their privilege for anything other than making a small statement, although conversely some white allies will be kick ass like Jessica Chastain and use her position of power to make sure her costar Octavia Spencer be paid the same as she, using her white privilege for good. That is the standard definition and use of "Conversely" that I am aware of. Or do they mean "conversationally"? In that case: Did you guy hear how Jessica Chastain is totally kicking ass right now?
