It was a good day.
Had a pretty good day today.
Work was pretty much chill, nothing too crazy. My walk to and from work was pleasant, and I did another session with the Fitbit Coach.
I haven't seen any difference in myself, but it has only been 3 days, and I did tell myself that I would give myself a week before I started freaking out on whether or not this was working.
I did make the mistake of buying some snacks from the vending machine, and that does need to not happen again.
But I am very tired and think I'll probably go to sleep after dinner tonight.
The TCM online class started today. And like most classes, the first day was mostly going over the syllabus. I do have the assignment to watch (or at least try to) 4 different musicals.
Those movies are "Broadway Melody", "The Wizard of Oz", "Born to Dance", and "Top Hat".
I have seen two of those and I am excited to watch the other two, and honestly, if I have to watch "The Wizard of Oz" one more time, I am going to scream! So I'm going to happily skip that one. (Don't get me wrong, it's a great film, I'm just tired of watching it. The same with The Graduate.)
But yeah, other than all that- I had a good day today.
Now on to the prompts!
Day 3: A time when you were frightened.
I don't think I can remember a time where I was frightened.
I read somewhere that the human brain does not remember pain, it remembers joy, happiness, and overall good feelings, but not pain. I wonder if the same goes for fear. I try to live my life as happy as I can (depression not withstanding), but moments were I was scared? I can't recall any.
Well good for me!
And from February- Day 27: Describe the view from your window.
My window looks out to my front yard. I have a few bushes at the base of the window, in which a number of birds like to make their home. Their singing provides a nice little soundtrack during the day. The front yard doesn't have much, we have a circular driveway, so mostly my brother's car is in my main view. But when he's not parked there, I can see the neighbor's front yard across the street. And there I can watch the squirrels and rabbits run around and just do whatever squirrels and rabbits do.
It's a pretty sight.
